Stanford adds another athlete for 2011

As the Stanford football team prepares for the 2010 season opener next week, the recruiting department scored for the 2011 team. ESPN reports 4-star athlete Jordan Richards from Folsom, CA has committed to the Cardinal.
Richards is listed as a 3-star recruit by Scout.com and Rivals.com.
An athlete is exactly what Richards appears to be. In 2009 he rushed for 495 yards and nine touchdowns, he had 55 receptions for 883 yards and nine touchdowns and recorded 55 tackles and had four interceptions.
Richards measures in at 5-11 and 185-pounds. He chose the Cardinal over other Pac-10 rivals Cal, Oregon, Arizona and Washington.
Richards becomes the 22nd commitment for the class of 2011 (high school). He is the ninth 4-star recruit in the class.
Two weeks ago, Stanford picked up defensive tackle Lance Callihan from Baton Rouge, LA. The 6-3, 295-pound man in the middle has 3-stars from Rivals.com and Scout.com.
