Stanford gets second commitment in two days

It turned out to be a good week for Stanford recruiting. Yesterday, the Cardinal received its second commitment of the week for the class of 2011 (Stanford's class of 2015).

Running back Remound Wright from Fort Wayne, Indiana gave Coach Jim Harbaugh a call to say he is coming to Palo Alto in the fall of 2011.  The 5-9, 195-pound running back is a four-star athlete according to Scout.com and the 20th ranked running back.  ESPN ranks Wright with three stars and 56th at his position. Wright has already rushed for 2,421 yards in his high school career and 40 touchdowns. Wright decided on Stanford over Boston College, Michigan, Michigan State and Iowa to name a few.  The running back class is very deep for Stanford. Wright is the 4th running back to commit to Stanford for 2011. Overall Stanford has 17 commitments now for the class of 2011(Stanford's class of 2015).

On Thursday one of the country’s top linebackers committed to Stanford when James Vaughters from Tucker, Georgia decided on Stanford.
